Recently, our family was searching for a local church to get involved in. We wanted to find a family friendly church with genuine people, solid Bible teaching and meaningful worship. It’s never easy “visiting” a new church for the first time. However, we were pleasantly surprised by what we experienced at Hope.
The moment we walked through the door we were greeted by so many smiling faces. People introduced themselves and shared some of the many attributes Hope Church has to offer. Our children were delighted to find a Sunday School class for each of them…from elementary age through high school…as well as multiple adult classes. We found the worship to be genuine and upbeat. The Bible teaching was excellent as well…Pastor Ken does a wonderful job of walking through the various books of the Bible with thorough and insightful explanations and application for our lives.
We were touched by how involved everyone was in helping and volunteering…it was apparent the people were loving and compassionate about their church community. Each of our family members left with huge smiles on their faces and warmed hearts….it may have been our first time visiting at the church, but everyone made us feel as if we were already part of the family.~ Jen and Eric
Our first time visiting Hope was after searching the internet for a community church near us. We were looking to put an offer on a new house and we wanted to have a church nearby to become involved in. It was a Saturday and we drove by and pulled in and there were cars in the parking lot. I ran in to get more info and was immediately welcomed by the group of members sorting Easter candy. I asked my questions and knew immediately it would be our new church family.
We moved a month later and walked in on a Sunday morning. We were greeted by some of the same people I met that Saturday. We felt welcomed and even when we found our seats, we had people come up to introduce themselves. We were impressed with the worship team and their praise music. After a great sermon by Pastor Ken, we met Pastor Gary and Carol and they told us their story and we knew it was where God wanted us to be.~ Jill and Frank
